The three star Principal Hotel is set among the picturesque cobbled streets of Temple Bar and exudes old- world charm, particularly at night when the whole building is lit with streetlamps. Temple Bar is Dublin's liveliest district, lined with bars and restaurants and a favorite area in which to enjoy Guinness and the craic. From the airport, follow the route towards O'Connell Street then follow the traffic over O'Connell bridge. Continue up D'Olier St and on to College Street. Keep following the road around. Take the first left off Westmoreland Street onto Fleet Street. You will notice the Principal Hotel on the right hand side of the street and opposite the car park on the left hand side of the street. If approaching the river Liffey by the Custom House, which is the most common approach from the airport, then continue over Butt bridge. Take the first left and travel up along Burgh Quay. Take a left at the crossroads on the left side of O'Connell bridge. Continue up D'Olier St and on to College Street. Keep following the road around. Take the first left off Westmoreland Street onto Fleet Street. You will notice the Principal Hotel on the right hand side opposite the city center car parking facilities.
